EDS Skin rejuvenation treatment is one of our most popular treatments.
The eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation treatment is an electronic, micro-skin needling procedure that stimulates your skin so that it will regenerate and repair itself naturally, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.
This procedure can be used as a key treatment to rejuvenate:
- Acne Scars
- Photo damaged & Ageing Skin
- Facial & decollete lines and wrinkles
- Stretch marks
Below you will find some useful information about the procedure and I am here to answer any queries you may have.
The eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation treatments take professional skin needling to a new, more advanced level using the eDermastamp, a German-engineered and manufactured medical device from the makers of the Genuine Dermaroller™. It has been specifically designed to give clinical practitioners greater control over intensive skin needling procedures while reducing any discomfort.
The eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation creates thousands of micro medical needle columns into your skin, each one penetrating into the dermis layer. These columns will stimulate the skin, encouraging it to regenerate and repair itself. They’ll then rapidly close so that your skin can quickly recover.
Thanks to the precision engineering and fine-tuned controls I can accurately control the eDS™ treatment intensity throughout the procedure; I can adjust the needle depth and speed depending on the area that I’m treating and the particular condition of that area of your skin.
Following the procedure your skin will start to naturally regenerate and repair itself, working below the surface in the dermis. This will take some time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and the dermis layer is rejuvenated. It can take up to six weeks before you see signs of this regeneration and repair, although the process will continue to work over the following months, leaving you with natural, long lasting results.
We recommend that your eDS™ Skin Rejuvenation treatment consists of three procedures approximately six weeks apart. However, some skin conditions may more treatments to achieve the desired results. Alternatively your practitioner may suggest a GD Skin Rejuvenation treatment using the Genuine Dermaroller™ medical device is the better course of treatment.
The procedure may produce some discomfort, so I will apply a topical anaesthetic to the treatment area beforehand, while a high quality hyaluronic acid solution will allow the needle tip to move smoothly over the surface of your skin.
Immediately after the procedure you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warmer and tighter than usual. This normally starts to subside after one to two hours and will return to normal within 24 to 36 hours. I may suggest that you use a post-procedure recovery gel, to help soothe and calm the skin.
I will advise that you use a sunscreen product from the Heliocare suncare range. You should continue to apply this on a daily basis during the treatment course, even in the winter or on cloudy days. Use tepid water to cleanse the face until the redness has gone and dry gently. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
